Scheduling Activities

The EDGE Scheduling module speeds decision making by providing warnings if conflicts and double bookings are about to take place. A powerful visual calendar allows you to see at a glance what resources are booked and what time slots are available for new bookings. Activities such as shifts and vacation days for personnel, scheduled maintenance for equipment, and out of service days for rooms are easily tracked. Activities can be categorized and viewed by group or resource. Users can specify start and end dates, and can view and sort by many parameters.

Establishing Rate Cards & Categorization

A fully implemented Edge solution is not just a scheduling tool, but an extremely powerful business management and analysis tool as well. Edge offers financial management capabilities for defining rate cards for all resources. Rate cards reduce the large amount of administrative work required to add or change new, error-free client pricing. Define and categorize resources such as rooms, personnel or equipment, and track stock footage inventory and usage.

Project Manager

Edge Project Manager gathers individual bookings so key information from multiple sessions can be grouped together. This more effectively manages the project scheduling of an entire job.

Edge generates invoices from single sessions or an entire job. Make invoicing easy with selectable invoice templates and quick reference list previews of invoices. Export data to external accounting applications.

Detailed Work Order Information

Entered work orders can serve as a detailed historical record and supply information to calendar views. Sophisticated user-defined rules warn of pending schedule conflicts and other equipment or resource limitations.

Quotes Manager & Client Information

Edge maintains a complete record of existing and prospective clients managing basic contact information, billing rates, discounts, billing terms, quoting history and much more. Edge Quotes Manager allows users to build quotes from pick lists of resources and services, or from user-defined templates to speed-up complex bidding.  Edge’s easy-to-use search capabilities allow you to locate quotes quickly and easily.

Asset Library & Label Management

The Edge Library Module organizes tapes and related media materials keeping them quickly accessible. Its detailed database delivers powerful search capabilities.
