ScheduLINK Overview
ScheduLINK is the industry leader of Enterprise Resource Management and optimization solutions for satellite and terrestrial networks of the world’s largest satellite bandwidth providers, television broadcasters, cable networks, and mobile uplink providers. Extensive satellite and terrestrial bandwidth configuration tools provide easy-to-read graphical transmission path scheduling and control over multiple business and technical variables.
Transmission companies are facing challenges associated with the management of complex inventories while avoiding potential problems such as availability restrictions, equipment requirements, single and dual-path polarity conflicts, digital or analog requirements, progress/proximity-to-start status or required bandwidth capacity. ScheduLINK manages these complex inventories and utilizes sophisticated logic checks to avoid multi-parameter conflicts, technical mismatches, and double bookings.
By delivering dynamic business and financial management tools, ScheduLINK provides comprehensive cost center allocations, automated rate cards and invoicing. These tools provide detailed business analysis and reporting capabilities which interface with external ERP systems. Heightened visibility of vendor resources, rate cards and automated purchase order creation are just a few more reasons customers choose ScheduLINK as their comprehensive cost control system.

ScheduLINK Modules
BandPLAN
BandPLAN provides a dynamic solution for the ever changing requirements of bandwidth scheduling. With BandPLAN the complexities of bandwidth utilization and integration, from expansive HD feeds to highly compressed digital satellite news feeds can be maximized by allowing schedulers to see available bandwidth with its visual bandwidth calendar. Highly flexible usage parameters for each transponder and pipe allow available bandwidth configurations to vary by time of day, date ranges or for a special event. This technical flexibility is paralleled with pricing flexibility allowing resolution down to the individual client level for custom contract fulfillment.
Operations Manager
Operations Manager delivers additional value already built into ScheduLINK which provides a system-wide, real-time catalogue of key technical information for satellite and terrestrial network configurations. ScheduLINK allows fast, collaborative, informed decision-making across an organization.
Operations Manager supplies continual event awareness in the fast-paced, task-loaded environment of areas such as MCRs, Teleports, Tape Rooms, Centralcasting Hubs, and "OCs" - whether TOCs, NOCs or SOCs. As operational requirements become chaotic, productivity is actually improved and awareness expanded with teams knowing Operations Manager's alerting system will coordinate the needs of events with critical times.
Antenna Matrix
In conjunction with ScheduLINK, a satellite antenna is designated with unique technical requirements dependent upon its use. Antenna Setup parameters include polarity, frequency band, arc range, and port configurations. Additional parameters include an Antenna Validation process based on the satellite-to-antenna technical requirements and restrictions as well as an Antenna Move activity to provide a visual indication and restriction of booking during that period.
Antenna Matrix validates the technical parameters of an antenna/satellite combination. In order to validate these parameters for a booking the Antenna Matrix accounts for the antenna’s configuration, its role in the booking, and the technical parameters of the satellite booked.
